Community route Val Miñor- Baixo Miño

Description:

This route belongs to the so-called Community Tourism, which arises as an economic alternative for rural, farming, native, mixed-race or African descent communities of a country, in order to get some income which may be complementary to their daily economic activities, and to help them defend and increase the value of their cultural and natural local resources.

We will visit an ecological farm where jam is made. We will be able to find out more about what is done at a greenhouse, a compost bin, a worm compost bin or a henhouse, as well as discovering the free-range chicken! We will visit a factory of turnip tops, discover the job done by a vernacle collector and the net knitters. We will get into the workshop house of two galician artists, go through the flavours of La Guardia with some good wine in a Winery, as well as participating in a photo shoot from one of the most outstanding viewpoints of the Baixo Miño.
